Canvas Prints
Canvas Prints
All Canvas Prints are made with Archival Inks on 385gsm Poly-Cotton Canvas. Each print comes with a Certificate of Authentication.
FRAMED CANVAS ORDERS will arrive strung at the back and ready to hang (Unless you select roll/tube).
ROLLED CANVAS ORDERS will include an extra 5cm canvas border for stretching.
For example, when you order a 100x100cm canvas print, the finished artwork image is 100x100cm but the total canvas size is 110x110cm, allowing 5cm on all edges for your local framer wrap around the stretcher bars.
Paper Prints
Paper Prints
Printed with Archival Inks on 320gsm on Cotton Rag Paper. Each print comes with a Certificate of Authentication.
WE ONLY OFFER PAPER PRINTS IN A ROLL. Unfortunately we do not offer framing for paper prints.
ROLLED PAPER ORDERS will include an extra 5cm canvas border for trimming.
For example, when you order a 100x100cm paper print, the finished artwork image is 100x100cm but the total paper size is 110x110cm, allowing 5cm on all edges. This will give your framer the option to expose the white border, or trim it to suit your frame.

How long will it take to arrive?
- If your order is rolled, please allow 1-2 weeks for shipping.
- If your order is framed, please allow 2-4 weeks for shipping.
*NB During the pre-christmas peak period, orders can sometimes take up to 5 weeks to arrive. Orders placed in late November won't arrive until January as our amazing team stops for the Christmas New year break.
All of our prints are custom made by hand in Mornington, Victoria, Australia.
Each order goes through a process of printing & rolling OR printing, stretching & framing.
When we have a backlog of orders, the team still ensures that the quality of each frame is second to none, and this takes time.
Framing
Framing
We offer 3 options for frames.
Flooded Gum (Natural Timber) is the most popular option. It is soft brown/blush in colour with a raw/uncoated finish.
American Ash (Natural Timber) Our natural timber frames are extremely robust and wear well over the years. If you're hard-wearing on your frame, you can correct any bumps and marks with a light sand.
White Timber (White Painted Timber with a gloss finish)
All framed orders come strung at the back, ready to hang.
All of our timbers (frames & stretcher bars) are sustainably sourced and Certified by the Forest Stewardship Council.
Please be aware that painted frames can chip if you knock them about, which is why we always recommend Natural Timber as our best framing option.

Our custom prints are crafted on the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria by our production partners Southern Buoy. We use archival inks and papers combined with sustainably sourced natural timbers to build our artworks.
How are Archival Prints made?
Firstly, the original artwork is professionally photographed in the reproduction studio using a 102 Megapixel Fuji GFX-100 Medium Format camera which produces a 500+MB file that is then colour-corrected to perfectly match the Original Artwork for printing.
Our prints are then processed through a state-of-the-art Epson printer using Archival papers, canvas and inks (Archival = UV resistant products that are designed to last a long, long time).
Each print is then either; rolled & shipped in a robust cardboard tube, or; sent to the production line for the Stretching & Framing component to be completed.
The team of experts at Southern Buoy take great care in their craft of stretching and framing our prints with FSC Certified (sustainably sourced) timbers, hand-crafting each frame one-by-one with specialized hydraulic equipment.
Craftsmanship and quality are key drivers of our business, which is why each order takes a few weeks to print, stretch, frame and deliver. Good craftsmanship cannot be rushed.
What happens after a placing an order?
Once placing a print order, you will have a personal line of communication with Anna who will share details on when you can expect your order, and provide a forum for you to ask any questions you may have while you wait.
Once your order is ready to ship, you will be informed:
Customers with orders that are being delivered by Southern Buoy, will receive a TEXT MESSSAGE with an estimated time & date of delivery.
Customers with orders that are being delivered by a courier will receive an EMAIL with a tracking link, connected back to the carrier.
It is not lost on us that an artwork is an investment and we aim to make the experience from online checkout to delivery an enjoyable one, communicating with you along the way.
How long will my print take to arrive?
ROLLED ORDERS typically take 1-2 Weeks to ship from the date that the order is placed. This is usually a little longer for international orders due to extended shipping timelines.
FRAMED ORDERS typically take 2-4 Weeks to be shipped from the date that the order is placed.
A Christmas cut-off order date is put in place each year at around mid-late November. For 2024, the Christmas Cut off date was November 22.
Who delivers the artworks?
The majority of framed orders heading up or down the East Coast of Australia will be delivered directly from Mornington in the Southern Buoy delivery van to your door.
Smaller framed artworks & orders heading outside of the East Coast will be carefully boxed and shipped with a reliable courier.
All couriered orders will receive a tracking link with their postal carrier so they can trace the journey.
We can ship our prints to anywhere in the world, but due to high shipping costs and risk of damage to framed orders in international transit, we ship ROLLED-ONLY to our customers outside of Australia, allowing our international customers to have their print framed locally in their home town.

HOW REAL DO ARCHIVAL PRINTS LOOK?
Check out these close-ups. All custom print orders are handcrafted in Australia, using the exact same canvas and timbers that Anna's Original Artworks are made with.
